Calvert-Lewin was never going the World Cup injury or not. He’s about 7th choice striker for England.
Before his injuries he was next on the list after Kane whether people believe he's good enough or not isn't the case the bloke in charge of England had him as second choice before he picked up all his injuries. Would he still be if he'd stayed fit? Who knows because he could have remained in decent scoring form and we might never have been in this predicament now. It's all only guesswork. I honestly think that only in the last couple of games have we started to see a fit Calvert lewin he may have played a few games but his match fitness has just not been there, but this does stray from original point which was give Simms a go and some time to see if he's upto the job before we say he's not.

Agree what saying about ayew but feeo isco and kruse both still playes at s high level. If we dont i accept the resdons why just feel we have to take a chance on somebody
Looks like you were at a high level writing this or I am high reading it........

Why do Forest even need him? Seems like every time we go for any player there's a forest a Bournemouth a Saints in contention too they all have big squads it's almost like they just want to prevent us getting anyone even a warm body. I think there's an attempt to help us on our way down.
i honestly believe ew are better off not signing these types of players. We are already stuck with enough rubbish. What is the point of adding worse players on 3 year deals. Then Dyches successor will have to start clearing out the rubbish first and we are back to square one. Its pointless really

Shame that tbh - Ayew's in better shape than people realise post-World Cup, he's the captain of his national team so a good leader in the dressing room, and he can play behind the striker without us having to shunt the likes of Gray there (so he can stay wide left).

At least Isco is a lot sexier hey?
