No loan to buy deal mate. £100m euro buy out clause in his contract with Barca, supposedly though those buy out clauses are inserted in Spanish footy as the norm. If he keeps this form going though it will probably take a fair wedge to get Barca to part with him, either that, or we'll be competing with a fair few tops teams in Europe for his signature.

Price tags mean nowt to me ,I just see this lad as Class , like we've not had for decades.

There is no loyalty in footballl anymore. But you’d like to think the boy is so happy at the club, we’ve rescued him from his Barcelona experience and the fans love him. I should imagine what the lad has gone through personally, that just being happy again and enjoying his football, will be a big motivating factor where he’s sees his future.

That's what I'm counting on; he doesn't come off as a merc but his high buyout fee could be a stumbling block, especially if we have a wedge in waiting for a high class forward.
I believe he does , and I'm sure that discussion has already taken place between him Brands & Silva , otherwise Brands would be wasting his time trying to get a deal done with Barca.

He'll deffo have other suitors mate, and whilst he seems to be enjoying his time with us that doesn't mean he'll stay if any of the other Spanish or Italian, etc teams come in for him, especially if they could offer him champs league footy. Like any other footballer he'll want to win things.

By trying to get a deal done now its obvious Gomes has expressed his wish to stay disregarding wether there are other clubs wanting him.
I think the only obstacle is how much Barca are willing to accept.
