I really think the lad likes it at Everton and under silva has a coach that believes in him, however if that clause Barcelona has inserted in his contract is true (€89m) then we are not in position to be paying that type of money for a player at present.

I think we will struggle to tie him down, he will be drawing alot of interest from all over Europe, Barca will be wanting a bidding war. He will want CL.

Barcelona don't want him so that's not the problem. Think in La Liga terms he'snot attracting other interest.
Think the issue is other Premier League teams. Can see him fitting at a number of the Top 6. Can see his head being turned by higher wages and CL football that some of those clubs can offer.
Got to enjoy the ride while it lasts. Nightmare scenario is that he ends up at the RS. Stylistically he'd fit in there and they must be looking to improve in that area.

I hope your right, I don't doubt he isn't happy, I just feel players with his ability and composer get picked up by top 4 clubs, who can offer him CL. Think utd would be interested in him especially if pogba goes.
I feel we are a natural goal scorer.. if we managed to keep Lukaku who knows.
Also a decent right winger, and right back, not that I'm slagging Coleman off because he has played great the last few games. I just feel that we could do with some young legs.

If most CL teams from a top 2 or 3 league come after him why would he turn them down?
That's the level he's used to playing. Why would he accept less if he was in demand?
It's not like we can offer him guaranteed European football over the a 3 or 4 year contract. Chelsea, Arsenal, United, City, RS, Spurs, PSG, Atletico, Dortmund, etc.. can all do that.
He look boss for us. But I think it's very unlikely he ends up signing for us permanently. Putting it bluntly, he;s too good for our current level.
Need to become a regular qualifier for European football to keep these guys Hope i'm wrong obviously
