That's the level he's used to playing. Why would he accept less if he was in demand?

It's not like we can offer him guaranteed European football over the a 3 or 4 year contract. Chelsea, Arsenal, United, City, RS, Spurs, PSG, Atletico, Dortmund, etc.. can all do that.

He look boss for us. But I think it's very unlikely he ends up signing for us permanently. Putting it bluntly, he;s too good for our current level.

Need to become a regular qualifier for European football to keep these guys Hope i'm wrong obviously

I agree with you, but just say we get Europa League, do you think he will stay?

We need to match ambition, Gana is great but we need a baller with the composure of Gomes in the middle. Look at city, they would probably play Ghana at makeshift full back like Delph. Possession is 9/10 of the law.

couldn't agree more, if you can't keep the ball sooner or later the top teams find you out. Gana does his best work without the ball, and in matches like this as a CM you need a bit more than that

I know this is tongue in cheek but Xabi Alonso has won 2 CL, a World Cup and 2 European Championships.Thats along with Bundesliga and La Liga titles.

Andre Gomes has failed at Barcelona. That's why he plays for us. He's definitely someone who could easily play at the top level. The challenge at the moment is convincing him that Everton can reach his level.

Reals worry that he RS see him as their midfield solution and swoop next summer.

Yeah he can go in their stockpile of midfielders. Why would he look anywhere else in England? Hes playing footy here, hes clearly happy and enjoying being at the club and we are building something. Theres real progress under silva, and theres a lot to be said for being loved somewhere and he is loved here. He spoke of the hard times he had at Barca so who knows. We've as good a shout as anyone to sign him permanently. Ousmane dembele is failing at Barcelona too. I'd still have him in a heartbeat.
 

I hope we can get him for the £25-30mil we were thinking when he signed...Barca will probably ask £40-50mil now though.
