Not played well for a few games now like.

Sides have cottoned onto the fact that he's only decent CM and have started giving him more attention.

He's class though. No need for the kneejerk.

I´d say ´he´s class though´ is a pretty knee jerk comment. Guarantee those exact comments were being made about Schneiderlin when he started turning in his bad performances.

Definitely still sign him, they've all been crap for a month; on a plus note his price will not rocket if his poor form continues. Think his body is in shock after christmas ha, no think he picked up a knock and could do with a game or two out.

But surely being the best midfielder at the club warrants then signing him?

We need more than one midfielder though and buying 4 of them in one window is suicide

And yes we absolutely do need to wait for a few years . The reason why gomes is the best we have is because better don't want to come here and sit midtable. Players you want are going to the top 6 rather than sit midtable losing to Brighton and Southampton

No we don’t need a few season. By your logic we shouldn’t get Richarlison, we should have bought Shane Long and wait another few season before we get Richarlison. There are better midfielders out there I’m sure is within our Budget. Read Brands interview couple of weeks back mate, he’s saying if we are aggressive enough to sign a player, we will get them

Too easily bypass physically, doesn’t impose himself enough, no pace, can hardly carry the ball forward, shooting poor. Surely someone out there can do better.

He looked heavy legged and short of confidence today. Even the simplest of passes either went astray or were too heavy in delivery. He didn’t make any tackles and was simply brushed aside by their midfielders.

I rate him highly but was deservedly hooked today.
