Richarldson is a 21 year old player who had a boss 10 games last season and due to fatigue had a shocking rest of the season.

I'm not sure I follow your logic here.

Also what better midfielders are available to move to a midtable team?
 

Don’t mind admitting I was all for signing him after half a dozen games but he looks a long way from a priority buy at the moment. Very poor for 7/8 games now. Ganas getting stick for giving the ball away but he’s gardly been any better recently and that’s what he’s actually there for.
 
Why are we making excuses for this guy? I think he has some qualities, but he was absolute CRAP for us today. He's supposed to be linking play from the back to the front. His passing was bad, but what we even worse today is that he was completely absent on the defensive end. Every time Southampton countered, he was nowhere to be found. Did he ONCE step into a passing lane and put the pressure back on them?

Been that way since the Liverpool game. If we are being honest, he's looked out of his depth.
 

He’s not as sexy these days is he? After the steel played rhinos horn he used to give me for 3-5 games , he’s now the polar opposite
 
Like we get excited with 2 or 3 good results, we over-hype players after a few decent performances. You would have thought he was Andrea Pirlo here in October and November.

As with everything at the club, he has regressed to the mean which is distinctly average and disappointing.

I really want players like him to provide leadership and take responsibility, and I don't see it.

To be quite honest, I'm not particularly bothered whether he signs or not and would tend to go for someone younger and hungry.

A very nice chap he seems and all that.

Cant argue with that. I dont want to knoxk the guy because he has played this season and been class. Im not sure what has changed but today he was crap.
