Sissoko look so much better than him. Fast strong good ball control and willingness to burst forward with the ball at any given opportunity.

I agree, Gomes is very stylish in his play but he does slow play down abit, probably why he didn’t make it at Barcelona, fast passing is the way forward nowadays. I’m not sure how good Gomes is at the high tempo stuff.

Lots of worrying on here over very unsubstantiated claims. I don't think spurs will pay as much as us but who knows what will happen. He is what we need so fingers crossed it falls our way, would be gutting to lose him to another PL team who get him for discount price.

To be fair on him, he has done well when called upon. If Gana goes as well we'll need at least one player that was here this year. Davies isn't ready to be first choice yet.

I'm still suspicious, seeing as though his two spells of good form have come when there's been virtually nothing to play for.

The team isn't too bad overall, but I think centre midfield needs addressing in the summer.

They just made £110 million getting to the CL final.

He's just seen Spurs reach the CL final and i can't blame him for casting eyes at them, Spurs are going places and have a new stadium to boot.

We always fear the worst don’t we? We are that used to bad news we automatically thinks the bad news is more truthful.

Hopefully he does sign and we can get him gueye and another CM in to create a dynamic midfield.
