Now that looks like a proper formation, probably one of the best we've had for a good few years lets hope Gomes regains his form and can stay fit.
Silva and especially Brands have worked a minor miracle to transform the squad from the dire one we saw last season.

I would be concerned about us defensively with that midfield and attack.
Every game would be a shoot out.

It's the way of the future mate. I don't think under Silva we're going to go into a game against a top team with 7/8 defensive players on the pitch the way we have done under Allardyce and Koeman. The only difference there from the game against Leicester is swapping Gomes for Davies. I don't think that's necessarily worse defensively.

And then get coleman and mina in for Kenny and Keane and we'll see that attack is the best form of defence.

City have the best defensive record but you wouldn't say they have great defenders.
