I thought he was our best player yesterday, especially in the second half, couldn't believe how physically strong he was on the ball. The lad seems to have everything in his locker.

Yes I noticed that, at times he had the strength to hold off two or three United players while keeping possession. Pleasantly surprised with that, I thought he was just a skilled runner / passer with the ball. If I was Schneiderlin I would have my agent looking for another h Dr club pronto.

Gomes is a level up from the CM players we currently have. I like Idrissa Gueye but Gomes shows the type of player we need to be attracting for the team to progress. Always over time we should be replacing current players with better players to challenge every game.

Gomes benefits from Gana and vice versa. Take either out and it doesn't work as well. Gomes seems to be the type of partner Gana needs.

I think you might be right about him being our best player by the end of the season. Once he gets purring, I think that he'll be on the top of quite a few clubs' wish lists for next season. Alongside Zouma, get him signed up asap please Mr Brands!

He has lost practically 2 seasons at Barca
In my opinion if he’s happy here and he and his family ? If he has one settle into the club and the area I think he will want to stay
I can’t see him moving to another club and ihaving it going wrong again
