..i’d prefer to think that the majority of them are decent lads and not simply doing it to look good.

Yeah tbf I'd much prefer them "chatting up" pregnant birds on snapchat than being shown in a good light like... From the videos you can see they do more than the bare minimum and are willing to get involved with the community aspect. Yes they are being put in that position, that is their job, but they are clearly embracing it which is always nice to see.

Nobody is disputing that

But the fact that the players are all readily going above and beyond shows they're settling in well

Tbh, I wouldn’t care if they’re a team of utter knobheads, as long as they win something and are successful.

Coleman gave 5 grand tonthst RS supporter that was attacked and the club never mentioned it
Mata has set up a charity and he and a lot of other footballers give 1% of their wages to it every week
Drogba built a hospital
As in all walks of life some footballers are genuinely good lads and some are knobs

I believe that Carsley used to give 33% of his wages to a Down Syndrome charity..

Yeh, we definitely don't have an option to buy.

But we didn't with Lukaku.

Sport are the Spanish version of the Mirror. If we want Gomes and he wants to come, then we'll get him, and it won't be for 100 million euros either.

We've got him all season so let's see how it goes.
 

There will be no problem securing this guy on a permanent deal, if he is interested in making it so. He's completely out of the equation at Barca/
