Yeah quality for us and fan favourite and we got his best years. But he has hit his peak and will only go down after this season. His replacement his 22 so we need to give him time to see what he can do.

The thing I don't understand is why our tactics are not flexible. We have got maybe 4 players in the front 6 who are capable of moving around, and it would be great if our tactics were a bit unpredictable - (for the opposition not for us! )

Ego and stubbornness. Every manager does it. Gets worse when it doesn't work.
 
The midfield partnership with Delph was non existent.

The gap between the pair in the middle of the park on Tuesday night was alarming...no communication between them whatsoever.

I like my pair of CM to work as a pair pressing and closing down space and players...non of that was (is) in evidence.

I think he may be carrying a long term knock??
