I think he gets more abuse from the fans because every 20 or so games, he shows us that he has the ability. Just seems to lack the mentality to be a top footballer.

Look, there's just no way of getting rid of unwanted players if they're on a lot of money. The club has no recourse other than to wait until their contracts expire.

Unless the player is Rodriguez, in which case we can scour the earth to find a taker, even if it means searching long after the European deadline has passed.

It's the wages. Now that we are skint again and our wage bill will presumably return to normal over the next two or three years it should be easier to move people on. Maybe. Mind you, this is Everton. Ignore me.
