Issac price with the squad. I wonder if he plays wing backs, maybe Kenny and Mykolenko with 2 midfielders and a number 10 ( gordon/iwobi) to help the midfield. Palace tend to play with a DM so you could see the number 10 sitting on him.

If Branthwaite is available I would be tempted to put either Godfrey or Holgate as a makeshift CDM in a 3 with Doucoure and Gomes unless he puts Iwobi in there and gives him free reign with Doucoure and Gomes sat more deeper.

We can’t start Gomes ! Shown too often he can’t do it ! Yes he understood the assignment when he came on the other day ! Don’t think I’ve seen him be a little terrier that like that before ! Charging in reminded me a bit of gravesen when he had a few mad moments ! But he can’t start Sunday ! He doesn’t have the nouse to do it for a full game and he’s too relaxed in his play for a full 90 !

Not for me, playing Gordon centrally blunts his attacking runs. Keep him on the wing where his pace and direct style will ensure their fullbacks dont get a licence to get up the pitch whenever they like? i would keep the defence that played on Thursday personally and maybe try a kid in the midfield, just for their energy? Will we have Kenny back?
