People who include Cahill as cover for our strikers need to remember he is only THAT effective when playing behind Yakubu

If the Yak got injured we'd be royally screwed.

But I'd be content with a season long loan of a striker as cover, can delay a big money signing in that area till next summer.

I honestly cannot see us being this short and being expected to compete. Moyes knows we were short of numbers last season, not the squad is even shorter.


Now unless the club has gone slightly demented in the run up to the season and expects the team to run on fumes -- the 5 or 6 Moyes wants will be on their way soon.

moyes might not have had a chioce aj might have made it clear that he wanted to move and if thats the case then you gotta let him go just to keep the spirt in the squad right!!
