From our offal - In response to increasing media speculation regarding Andrew Johnson, Fulham Football Club can confirm that the striker is undergoing a medical with the Club. The procedure is likely to be concluded on Tuesday 29th July.

As it is not customary for the Club to make an official announcement until all elements of a transfer are concluded the Club will not be releasing any further information regarding the transfer of Andrew Johnson until all elements of the deal are complete

Right, I have to admit I am starting to get slightly concerned. Yes we did finish 5th last year and yes we have got the best squad of players since the 80's, but we are getting extremely close to the start of the season.

Now I dont know how easy it is to conclude transfers in the US but its not like driving to Liverpool from London.

We do need to get replacments in and I really hope that we have got 2 or 3 lined up to come in quickly. AJ is a decent Premier League striker but £12m is a decent return. I agree with Bainsey its a bit worrying now.
 

don't worry so much, it will be ok. I have faith in Moyes, watch him sign Moutinho, and then it will all come good.
 
Didn't really want AJ to go, but at that price it's good business, even if we are having to sell to buy, overall if we end up bringing in Moutinho because of this sale overall the squad will be better I think.

I didnt say we had to sell AJ in order to afford Moutinho, I said people seem to think that the money will go towards the deal.
 

I can't fill an eleven out at the moment.

Then im not going to plonk in names i've heard of football manager or who looks ace on youtube videos.

So you couldn't name eleven players to start the season? Bearing in mind Round has said that Cahill is likely to be fit for the start of the season.

Nope and i doubt i'd chuck in a 17 year old lad in at the deep end either. Thats the only way i would complete a team by including him.

But then i can't fill out a subs bench.

Bench - Turner, Jagielka, Gosling, Lukas, Valente, Vaughan, Baxter

All i can think of, not looking to good and like i said i'd rather build Rodwell in first rather then just chuck him in. But i think we'll have a few more injuries before the start of the season.
