No, ive been pretty consistant that id have taken him on a one year deal.
What im not happy with is that it was a two year deal.
What makes it worse is adding Gray on a 3 year deal...
Ive always said you need 3 top wide players to rotate and one experienced or young player as 4th choice.
Having these 2 come in plus Gordon means 3 wide players who arent the level needed...the 4th was looking like Richarlison until he moved central.
Anyway, if we had just signed townsend for 1 season id see that as a smart and good deal.
