Absolutely shocking first half, far worse than anything Gomes has ever served up. I’ve seen lots of performances like this on a Sunday morning usually followed up around the 30 minute mark with a hangover chunder. I actually caught myself wondering whether he would get in the Boreham wood team at one point. Like others have said though he’s been decent enough for a free transfer and was better in the second half.

Really disappointing performance from Townsend. Needed to take that opportunity with all the competition and didn't

He got another assist, so that’s something the fans who think he was a very good signing to hold into.

I said in the summer, the guy has spent his whole career in the lower reaches of the prem. and Crystal Palace didn’t even want him. Says it all

….possibly the best LB at the club. We’ve seen how well wingers convert to full back, even in recent times Valencia and Ashley Young extended their careers at United.

I can’t be having Kenny at RB, never mind LB and I’m not convinced with Mykolenko. I’d be quite confident Townsend can do a decent job.

Only 3 in the league, and 1 was a pen. This guy is not the answer, he’s garbage.
