Victor Anichebe is on his way out of Everton after manager David Moyes tore a strip off him in a furious training ground bust-up.
The 20-year old Nigeria striker will be the first Everton player to be offloaded at the end of the season after Moyes finally lost patience with his attitude at the club's Finch Farm training complex yesterday.
After hearing of a failed deadline-day loan move for him by Hull, Anichebe angrily claimed it was 'a disgrace' he hadn't been informed and told one of the club's physios he was injured, adding: 'You can tell the gaffer I've got a knock and can't play against Liverpool.'
Moyes evidently erupted, once the news was relayed to him, and immediately confronted Anichebe in an exchange that was described as extremely one-sided.
Reports this morning suggested Anichebe told Moyes to 'f*** off' before being escorted away, but the Everton youngster was the one on the receiving end as Goodison's long-serving boss poured out his venom over an attitude that has been causing concern at the club for months.
The powerfully-built target man is described as being arrogant on the surface without having the deep-rooted self-belief to carry it off.
With injures virtually wiping out Everton's strikeforce this season, Moyes has repeatedly turned to him to lead the line but become increasingly exasperated with his inability to respond, either through minor fitness problems or poor form.
