Transfer Rumour Anthony Elanga

Its not mate but its the PL stats that really mean anything

It means nothing when he’s not getting consistent game time. The most he’s played for United in 1 season is 1200 minutes and he scored 2 goals and got 3 assist. Just for reference Richarlison played 1000 minutes last season for Spurs and scored 1, yet we all know Richarlison was the bollocks for us.

We were more desperate then.

If I didn't think someone was good enough in January, I'd likely think the same now.

And to be clear. We are in a relegation battle next season with this squad.

Why. He just says it wasn't what we needed then.

Getting a player in the summer alongside some other additions is totally different to scrambling round for a player whilst we have no manager.

Quick, direct, less than 10m

Take a chance I guess
At under £10m, a full international and only 21. He’d legitimately want to be truly dreadful for us to not make our money back on him. Won’t be the best player in the world by any means but at like 50 odd appearances for United in the last few years he cannot be that bad.

We’ve been a relegation side in that time, United have been a European side. I think he’s good enough for here based on that alone honesty.

We had a manager on 3rd Jan.

We needed a good attacking player in January as much then as we do now.

God knows why someone would say we didn't need Elanga in January but now say he's a good attacking player.

I suspect we are selling Gray or Iwobi and we will need numbers.

If it's a loan or £10m less then sound.

Not sure hes an improvement on Gray or Iwobi though for goals or creativity. Time will tell.

I never really watched him play so I inquired with a man united friend on how he rated him, he said "he was a better version of Dan James" which isn't super encouraging lol but I do like the notion of what Dan James tries to execute but he usually Is incapable of realizing his vision due to being Dan James so who knows what awaits us

Your being unfair. He said in January he's a good player but not needed at the time.

You literally quoted it

I don’t mind gambling on him but we need to sign more players. He can’t be the replacement for missing out on Gnoto, Danjuma, etc.

Iwobi and Gray score 2 a season so goals wise he’d be hard pushed to do worse.
