All the people criticizing him and Iwobi need to explain what exactly it was they were supposed to do given how the game went tactically. Wingers not having an impact 50 yards from goal isn't surprising.
The young lads won't get many chances to impress. They have to grab them when they come along.

Why do you think we had 2 keepers and Cuco Martina were on the bench? If we had an influx of top drawer kids chomping at the bit they would be lining up to take the places of either the first 11 or the bench.

Young lads will get very limited chances and when those chances come along they need to grab it with both hands quickly.
Edit : btw if you watch the youth teams thread you'll know I watch a fair bit of the U23's and will always want them to succeed and Gordon has some quality attributes. But you have to produce it when it matters.
Shoukd be given plenty more chances. He didnt do too bad. Think a lot of the criticism is harsh. Whether we like it or not, they are 20 odd points clear and we will play much worse teams.

I'm talking specifically about Gordon. Why doesn't he get a bunch of chances at this point? How much more of Bernard, Iwobi and Walcott should we see?
I'm not too concerned if the others don't play. The only one close is Kean and he has actual players ahead of him.
