Its a coin flip really.

He will either kick on and add end product next season or he wont.

1 means we get mega dough, the other means we get less money then now.

But, I doubt we sell him this window.

If someone came in with over 40m, I think that would be a good trade off for us, and will actually be very good business from the club with a young player for once.

I do not think Gordon will leave.

If he does, as others have said, it is sure the club need the money.

I think little more than £80m for him and Richarlison will probably be market value if it does happen.

If that is enough to tempt the club, who could say, it will depend on how badly we need the money.

It would be sad to see them leave to Spurs.

I'm not being horrible mate, but if KLP in tbe championship is quoted at 30m, Gordon, one of the best young players in the league is worth a lot more than 30m.

What a load of baloney about Gordon leaving.

We all know the score here.

This feels like prime Kenwright period deflection.

It's a great tactic from the board. 'Sorry we had to sell Richarlison, but look, we fought hard to keep hold of Gordon and he remains a blue!'

I doubt Spurs are looking to sign both him AND Richarlison.

Definitely has something. The only decent young player since rooney.

Rodwell, Barkley, Davies all started very well as well. Just didn’t have the application or desire to get to the next level. Hopefully Gordon does. In the case of Barkley he was criminally mismanaged by Martinez and Koeman. Would have been interesting to see him break through under Lampard or Ancelotti.

If it was a straight choice him or Richarlison leaving then it would have to be Gordon. I don't think he is agitating for a move though and Richarlison probably is so that is a moot point.

If however the discussions are starting at 40 million for Gordon then we would be mad not to listen to them despite what Gordon may be worth in the future, we need cash now to start overhauling the team and comply with the regulations. We need to get to next summer and be able to do business before having to sell someone with no threats above our heads.

It's the most obvious of tactics.

If that 's where we've landed after 6 years of the carpetbagger we may as well have BS Billy back in control.

Klopp and Guardiola would like to endorse this message.

FFS, the sky is that kid's limits.

Top managers would love to snap him up by a desperate Everton.
