Why give credit to any of the crap put out on the media by discussing it? Richy is our best player, Gordon might become a very good player but isn't one yet. By what stretch of the imagination are either for sale? Everton are not as far as I know selling our better players.

Problem is if sell what do you replace him with. Absolutely bog standard or even crap players are worth a fortune these days. Best keep and see how develops

Didn't Gordon only get 3 goals and 2 assists last season?

Add in his set pieces are woeful whilst he's a decent young player I think we could replace him currently with £45-50 millions in the bank.

Richarlison with his 10 goals and 5 assists is a different story !

Prefer to keep Anthony even for £40m and him be Richarlisons replacement on the left, I think he can reach Richy's levels.

With the sales of Richy, Kean and Gomes that should be enough to get a few players in.

I'm a huge fan of Gordon. Could be world class. Might end up flatlining though. Over 40m feels a decent risk/reward for me.

I think if the situation is different we take the money.

But the club is on the precipice right now. Relatively newly appointed manager, poor year, selling star player already, it would be foolhardy to sell one whom is likely not to push for a transfer.

I mean we sell Gordon and Richie this summer. Pickford and DCL next year maybe...

It paints a picture,a perception. I think we lose Gordon and we then lose all our better players quite quickly.

The plan was never to sell Gordon. It was always one of DCL or Richie.

What would playing him at the end of games achieve when the overall goal must be making him an established first XI player? He's done enough to show that he deserves to start games already. He's above the likes of Dobbin and Simms now but that should go without saying, really.
