When Dom got the 9 shirt he grew into it and proved why he was given that faith. Gordon looks like a shadow of the player we saw last season, and he wasnt amazing then. Currently, giving him the 10 shirt is embarrassing.

Was surprised to see Gordon play where he did, and much more surprised he lasted the full game. Did McNeil take a knock?

I think we need to manage him better.

We're putting way, way to much responsibility on him. He should be a squad/impact player.

Far far far better players out there for the money he would fetch for being young and English

I’ve figured out who he reminds me of. He’s Januzaj for United almost down to the letter. Gets introduced into a team in one of their worst ever seasons but shines every so often, still to anyone he wasn’t anything special, just showed a bit more effort as a young lad. Next season comes around he gets showed a lot of faith and inherits a big number for the first team, never shows anything again with United and is shipped out as fast as they can. He’s now 27 without a club.

Gordon looks to be on the exact same trajectory. Everything about him this season makes it look like it’s gone all to his head already despite not having achieved anything. The diving, moaning and playing for free kicks is beyond annoying for me, referees are well aware of him already like they were with Zaha and Richarlison, the difference is those 2 players actually had something about them and could actually have an impact on open play.
