No problem of selling him but if the club decide to sign player like McNeil or the Man Utd reserve dm it ain’t look good. Wolves sign good player like Nenes.

We are selling because it’s part of a symptom of how disgracefully we have been run. I don’t think it’s a coincidence we haven’t bolstered our attacking options with anyone substantial. No Richarlison replacement, DCL competition.

Our business this summer has mostly been loans, frees and a substantial buy from Lille.

I think he’s already gone to be honest.

We need to stop giving players new improved contracts based of what some people say was a good season, even more when they have years to go on the current deals - I hate the way we do stuff like that

Unless ofc we've already been spending this money mate.
I don't think that's the case at all. We rejected Spurs' approach and Newcastle's interest (no bid). We have rejected at least one, possibly two, bids from Chelsea.

We had cash available, around about 25-30m it seems, but unless we sold Richarlison by June 30th we wouldn't have been able to spend it.

We still haven't spent it all, we still have some of it to play with, as proven by the inquiries for Che Adams, possibly the strikers in France etc if those reports are to be believed.

But Gordon's sale would, no doubt about it, free up more cash for now and the future.

I just think £50m would be far too good to turn down, especially if he isn't going to sign a new deal.
