You believe what you believe for whatever your reason, I'll take my belief from the track record of this lying arse club.

We have seen this movie before...Club is desperate to raise funds so someone has to walk or pushed out.

I think Gordon is not interested in going his Agent might be but this has the hallmarks of prior club shenanigans. All the club has to do is feed the press quietly through proxies and sell the fanbase on future lined up deals.

Gordon is a young lad and I am sure his family want the best for him which includes not being railroaded out of the club.

Exactly.

Everton (incredibly) reject a £45m bid for a player who (while he definitely has potential) is almost entirely lacking end product
Every single press source says that the club are desperately trying to keep him.
Most media sources say the player has made it clear he wants the move.

Certain (predictable) Evertonians: "sToP trYInG tO FoRCe oUr aNThoNy ouT oF thE cLUB!"

Let it be said again that “Football Insider 24/7” has as much believability as anyone claiming to be the Economist head of sports. Both are pitching to hysteria ridden gullible idiots to lap up the story and spread it so they can be laughed at.

I have higher faith in Evertonians but this thread is making me question that on an hourly basis.
That fella who had the brief stint at the economist knew his stuff. Seemed to have quite senior sources at Newcastle if I remember correctly.

I hope he gets another gig at a proper paper soon.

….regardless of the ‘need’ to raise funds, there should always be a necessity to bring monies in if a good opportunity arises. I just think this is a decent bit of business at a basic £50m.

All about opinion of course.
Aye mate it's about opinions indeed, mines pretty clear - tell them to sod off ?

^^^^Naive^^^^

I’m still to see anything from him that warrants the creamfest in here!

Finishing poor
Assisting poor
Final ball poor
Crossing poor
Set pieces poor
Decision making poor
Dribbling OK
Effort fantastic

If he weren’t a scouser most would sell him in a heartbeat

I would question the 'most insecure' part. The RS and United exist. Hundo percent on the 'thickest' part.
The only difference between the rs and Geordie fans is that while the rs can create alternate stats and tables where they finish top, the horsepunchers do it but still end up finishing near the bottom of the table, such is their stupidity.
