He screwed up with that yellow card early on, it stopped him harassing like usual. But he was decent up until that, and again in 2nd half looked good at times.
We have to remember there was no outlet up top for the full game, Rondon bar a couple of flicks was constantly on his heels and couldnt get near the penalty area when our wide players got in possession. And when he went off it was even worse.
With more composure Gordon scores at least 1 today.

Mate, with the greatest respect you regularly demonstrate on here that you haven't got a clue about football so you taking a position that Gordon is no good is a cast iron guarentee that he is the complete opposite. I am not trying to be nasty with that, just pointing to the obvious.

I do like him, but when listening on the radio and the commentator shouts Gordon with a chance, Anthony Gordon i just don't get excited.
Just know nothings gonna happen.

He had so much time to decide what to do, the lads got absolutely no goal scoring instinct at all. That’s not an age or a potential thing, it’s there or it’s not.

I’m not going to look up stats but I’m pretty sure Walcott got 15-20 goals most years in the his peak with some assists too.

I just don’t see it happening with Gordon as much as I like him and his attitude.

Gray has scored goals where’s he best players and smashed/place shots into the corner of the net. Although he’s erratic you can see he has end product he’s just not consistent. I’ve never seen Gordon do something that’s truly wowed me.
