If this was Everton under Moyes I'd say sell him and plug the gaps . I just don't trust this board and manager to do a decent job with the money .

I swear to god if this club end up rejecting this bid for no reason other than he’s local I will be absolutely fuming. He offers so little for a player of his supposed value. Chelsea’s offer are effectively saying to us that he’s 9/10th the player Spurs think Richarlison is.

Do the right thing for once at this club and actually capitalise on a good deal when selling a player. It’s honestly madness.

The people at the top of this club have no idea how fans feel, all the talk is that fans love him and all that, nonsense, I’ll love any player that contributes to this team’s success, not some lad who at 21 had a very average season for any player his age with his amount of game time, then all of a sudden he became the “starboy” and got the number 10.

Sick of this club thinking that all it needs for us fans to get behind a player is them being a blue. Same reason the likes of Tom Davies get to stink out the place when he’s fit and why Nathan Broadhead will be nearly 30 before his Everton contract will be over. I’d much sooner get behind the likes of Richarlison probably didn’t even know who we were before he came to England and fell in love with the club and fans. Seamus did the same. Arguably the only good Everton fan that was actually a great player for us in ages was Baines and he didn’t even come through here. The funniest thing about this all is that Gordon is a Red anyway.

There's no way we should be selling this kid, I really hope we hold onto him.
Will just get better and better.

Can frustrate at times but he's young and only broke into the 1st team last year, I mean C'mon!
He's a skillful dangerous attacking player that is lightening quick.
You should never sell players like this!

He will learn and improve.

Stick your 50 bob Chelsea!

Spot on mate. If we want to replace him with a same level talent it is going to cost north of £50 million. I can't believe supposed Evertonians are wanting to downgrade the team and make it worse. Some strange cats following us.

Sell this no mark and throw all the money at the likes of Watkins or Toney. Proven goalscoarers in scrappier teams. Don't think either club would turn down that money for them either.

Gordon has no end product. Say hes young etc. But the club needs more than someone with potential at the moment to save us from another relegation scrap from the look of things

Every time the ball comes to him in the final third I just know absolutely nothing is going to happen.
Six shots
Five on target
Three chances created

You can question the all-round level of his performances, and he is frustrating, but you absolutely cannot say that 'nothing is going to happen'.

And btw, I would absolutely sell if Chelsea come in again.

Frank Lampard, a world class international midfielder thinks Gordon is a top class talent. All of the 'big' premier league clubs who have seen what he is capable of and are in the market are either putting together mega bids for his talent or considering. A few Da's and bedwetters on here are doing what they do every season. Thankfully the GOT transfer consultancy team will never get anywhere near any clubs coffers.
Lampard can’t come out and say

Our board is a joke mate, they have absolutely no idea on how to run a club. Liverpool have been offloading overpriced average players for years now and the once chance we have to replicate that we turn it down like idiots.

And that was clearly his best performance since the derby in April.

Again, it's a low bar, but he was okay today. That's because he's just an okay player right now. A talent who needs to learn to put pieces of the game together.
