For us he was , we rarely won games without his presence and he regularly scored over ten goals a season mostly from the wing and offered defensive contributions.

That's because we're very bad, not he's really good.

We were a bad team, it really is damned if you do, damned if you don't. We could have signed forwards and been on 1 point but instead it could be 6 scored 8 conceded.

And again expecting Gordon to maybe be more productive was completely reasonable.

That’s why we brought in a free transfer 2 loan deals

Yet spent £55m on McNeil and Onana; one of them as played in the premier league for the majority of his career and over that time scored less than Richarlison did in one season

And with Gordon, whilst I don’t rate him as well as some do; he’s only played one full season. It was ridiculous to expect him to start churning out 15 goals a season
