I tend to agree even though I’m not his biggest fan. However, if it’s true they are willing to pay £25m plus Gallagher & Broja then I feel the club have to accept that. We get a fee, pure profit, and two excellent prospects ourselves.

Feel like Broja and Gallagher would be more likely to help keep us up than Gordon on his own. Both can contribute goals. Gallagher was very good at Palace

But do they feel enthused by the idea of permanently joining Everton?

The alternative is keep Gordon but we need to find a decent striker from somewhere else, not easy
