It is. Who the hell is going to want a player like that?
I doubt Potter would want him. I don't know if Tuchel was driving the interest or just Boehly playing football manager. They'll have a proper director of football in future windows

How can you pass but isn't good at finding his man ?Gordon can pass but just isn't very good at finding his man whereas Gray just puts his head down and isn't bothered about anyone else.
Crossing mate, his crosses very rarely get by the first man.How can you pass but isn't good at finding his man ?
this x100. In a decade from now we'll still be talking about the day we "almost" could have got ~£50m for this plonker back in 2022.I think that ship has sailed can't see any offers over £25 million coming in now.
Unless Tuchel is mentally unstable, there's not a chance he was the driving force behind a ~£50m move for Tony 4 Goals, not when he's got the likes of Pulisic and Ziyech sitting on the bench barely getting a kick week in week out. Would wager this was fully Todd Woodward and whoever is in his ear from one day to the next.I doubt Potter would want him. I don't know if Tuchel was driving the interest or just Boehly playing football manager. They'll have a proper director of football in future windows
Yeah the last part is exactly it. Rarely do players start bad and develop into world class players. The guys who reach that level usually start out at least being decent. His performances dont surprise because he just isn’t that good and never will be. I’m amazed there is so much hope pinned on him from our fan base.
Poor to bang average now he might just might be a half decent PL player one day and that’s it.
Well Gordon’s Chelsea ship has deffo sailed. It is. Who the hell is going to want a player like that?
Really? It was on the internet so it must have been true lolPeople need to move on from the blag bids that never happened. Chelsea’s offers for Gordon were about as real as Man United’s 50 million pound bid for Sean Longstaff. It’s just nonsense that never happened.
Well the £50 mill Man Utd bid for Longstaff literally didn’t happen - it was Newcastle valuing him at £50 million.People need to move on from the blag bids that never happened. Chelsea’s offers for Gordon were about as real as Man United’s 50 million pound bid for Sean Longstaff. It’s just nonsense that never happened.
If -and big IF- reports of £100k demands are true (which I largely doubt), it may be nothing more than a negotiating tactic to run out the clock. I personally think AG absolutely wanted the Chelsea move last summer, I think he still does, hence the dragging out of "contract talks" to get closer and closer to the transfer window, when maybe the move might happen. We all know how these thing work behind the scenes. The thing is if he's backing his agent to push for 100k a week he really must be quite unaware, it maybe explains his poor judgement at times on the field of play. He's never looked anything beyond a squad player and looks destined to remain a lower prem level/championship standard at best. Deffo affected by the Chelsea headlines.
