Imagine there were people crying about potentially selling him for £60m in the summer, exactly what's wrong with the club. Just because he's a local lad he's allowed to stink the place out, just like Tom Davies has for years. Happened numerous times, manager and owner feel like they can't sell players like this because they're so "loved" by the fans when anyone with any sort of brain could tell the lad is barely worth £6m, never mind £60m.

This club has been runned shockingly bad in terms of finances for years but not cashing in on this absolute liability is among our worst ever decisions. Said a few weeks ago how it was a disgrace that he had already been suspended for yellow cards, now again tonight should've been sent off. Classic case of a player with no ability so he uses "passhun" and tries to hurt the opposition.

Absolute dog.

Because he worked far harder last season. He can do far more for the team. I've seen him do it before.
Why would he bother to work harder when he's the "Gordon", given the #10, rejected massive bids and made out to be the face of the club after a season of 4 goals, 2 of which were deflections he knew nothing about? What sort of example does that set? He knows he's made it now

He thinks he's "made it" now, why bother giving anything more when he's untouchable as it is, in his own head at least.

Hope there’s some truth in Spurs wanting him in January. At 40 million I’d bite their hand off, or alternatively they could just give us 30 and we’ll give them Keane, Davies, Mina and Doucoure as well.
Not a chance Levy will cough up that amount for him, his value drops every game he plays!

He has made it at Everton now. he could be shocking for the next 4 years and still be getting game time here just look at Tom Davies.
