I know what you mean but if I was his manager I would tell his agent and drop him.
I think that would give louder signals to him especially as all the muttering about bids obviously came through those channels
It also gives out signals that we won’t tolerate any BS with him
He's not 17 mate , tell him to his face.

Let's not beat around the Bush, the only person that can sort this is Gordon.
If he doesn't ( & sharpish) his career will be over before its started.

I don’t know Ravel Morrison either but I can tell you his attitude stinks.
Completely different player and irrelevant to this conversation. Gordon is in poor form but nothing suggests he has a bad attitude. The manager often remarks on how good his attitude is.

Oh and getting booked doesn't mean you've got a bad attitude. No idea where you've got that from.

I think this is a completely delusional post.

The feeling is mutual my friend. You think getting booked is evidence of a bad attitude? Gareth Barry holds the PL record for the most yellow cards. His attitude must have stunk by your logic.

Ridiculous contribution.

"They [Chelsea] haven't bid £60m. Let's not talk about a number because it's not there."

Why do people still peddle a myth that our manager confirmed did not happen.
It's really odd isn't it. It becomes more true every day and the fee gets bigger and bigger.

Reliable info suggests their biggest bid was £42m including add ons with a small amount up front.

He should have no fear, instead he seems scared to take on a full back or link up with anyone apart from turning round and passing backwards

1 minute in. Receives the ball on the counter attack.....turns back and volleys it back (he was actually aiming for Begovic but Vinagre controlled it)

Absolute shithouse performance with a shithouse tackle that could have broken the kids leg.

Wouldn't give him a £10 pay rise currently after the crap he's served up.

It's like some people want it to be true so they have a stick to beat Lampard, Gordon or the club with. Surely people understand that the majority of rumours put out there by the media are lies.

Gareth Barry also holds the record for Premier League appearances and was a defensive midfielder which probably goes some way to explaining why he got booked more than everyone who made significantly less appearances. But I’m sure this will make sense to you now it’s been explained.

Said it in a few other threads a few weeks ago, the lad was ready to go out on loan until our lack of options and money meant he had to stay and be used.

He had one good season and even then, it’s not like he was unplayable at times, he just looked half decent in an awful side.

Personally think we’d be lucky to get £20m for him at any point in the future as I think his levels have plateaued and we are now seeing what he’s capable of consistently against players who know what he does
