That was madness to turn down then wasn’t it. As most people said at the time.
Hahahahaha imagine turning down £42m for this weasel.

I called this in the summer when the speculation was rife. If we didn't sell, it would end in tears for Gordon at Everton because there would always be resentment that we didn't cash in. So now, instead of being a young lad allowed to develop at his own pace, fans have placed the expectations of a £60m player on his head. When he inevitably doesn't meet those expectations he's absolutely destroyed. It's plain wrong. It's like some people want it to be true so they have a stick to beat Lampard, Gordon or the club with. Surely people understand that the majority of rumours put out there by the media are lies.

Absolutely. Second on the list of all time yellows is Wayne Rooney who's not a defensive midfielder and certainly didn't have a bad attitude.Gareth Barry also holds the record for Premier League appearances and was a defensive midfielder which probably goes some way to explaining why he got booked more than everyone who made significantly less appearances. But I’m sure this will make sense to you now it’s been explained.

Pretty much puts paid to your little yellow cards = poor attitude theory doesn't it. Or do you want to continue arguing what is a completely inane point?
He’s been booked more times this year than he has goals and assists in his entire career. That says it all for a forward player. He’s been booked 7 times in 12 games, he has a bad attitude.

Said it in a few other threads a few weeks ago, the lad was ready to go out on loan until our lack of options and money meant he had to stay and be used.
He had one good season and even then, it’s not like he was unplayable at times, he just looked half decent in an awful side.
Personally think we’d be lucky to get £20m for him at any point in the future as I think his levels have plateaued and we are now seeing what he’s capable of consistently against players who know what he does
1 minute in. Receives the ball on the counter attack.....turns back and volleys it back (he was actually aiming for Begovic but Vinagre controlled it)
Absolute shithouse performance with a shithouse tackle that could have broken the kids leg.
Wouldn't give him a £10 pay rise currently after the crap he's served up.
Useless little bell end. I detest the little get.
