Player Valuation: £35m
Big clubs have famously never wasted money or got a transfer wrong (they also baulked at the price and haven't even sniffed at him since)

Players form dips in rudderless team - shocker! It’s alright lads, loads of big clubs were interested in him in the summer so he’s clearly boss and won’t be hard to shift this month.
Ang on.

Of course it would. We were after Dennis on his form last season, we are not now - no one is.But that wouldn’t make a difference with regards to the teams interested would it? If they rate him then they’ll still want to buy him?

Gordon looks ill and hasn’t been a regular at all this season, I reckon there is something in the background.I think there must be a problem between Lampard and Gordon.
I am not claiming him to be world class but Gordon was instrumental in our survival last year and yet this season he has very much become peripheral.
Yeah, but not at the prices quotes in the papers, only about £25m upfront and the rest in clauses.Yeah but we are utterly idiotic. We’re talking about top clubs here who know what they’re doing, who were apparently interested in Gordon.

No mate. He is a blue and loves the club. He does not react well to the abuse though, that is clear and who would tbh?
They didn't sign him though. These stories come out every year, where an average player (didn't Antonio to utd get mentioned in the papers a coupe of years ago?) gets linked with a big move. It doesn't happen and the player is often never mentioned again.Yeah but we are utterly idiotic. It’s on this thread, I’ve had a look. I’d say a clear majority wanted to sell (a fair few adamant we shouldn’t mind) but the phrase ‘bite their hands off’ is mentioned more than once.Someone needs to read through his thread (might be last season's one) and see who wanted him to leave or not, seems like there is way more people saying he should have left now than there was back then. I think I recall stuff like it would be small time to sell him at that stage etc. regardless of what Chelsea were going to pay.
No, which should make my feelings about Rat Turdley clear.Gordon is likeable?
