He's obviously getting the advice from somebody to squeeze the clubs pips for his own financial advantage. He would still get a decent increase in his wedge if he actually knuckled down, worked hard, improved his game and became far more effective for the team and club. Sadly, professional football is riddled with far too many self entitled lazy arses who don't actually give a s*** for their clubs, no matter how often they like to beat their hand on the club badge. There is no guarantee he'll find success elsewhere (Barkley), but we must admit the current shenanigans at Everton would test the patience of a saint. Meanwhile, not turning up for training, without justifiable cause, should be acknowledged as a formal request for a transfer and to suffer any potential loss of entitlements. It's about time this sort of attitude was challenged by all clubs, but nothing will change. Where there's money, there's greed.
