We would miss is fee however, sell while people still want to buy and reinvest the money. Everton gain nothing by keeping him, we need to start being more willing to sell players when prices are at there peak rather than holding on to players for too long.Send him to Newcastle with a few agreed tgen at the last minute pull the plug and put him in the reserves for the rest of the season.
If he don’t turn up fine him and sue for breach of contract, then reassess in the summer depending on where we are.
It’s not like we’re going to miss him his been crap this season
Well yes, I dont think we get 60m, I just hope we dont mess this up like we did in the Summer.
Im just happy I have a new example to use when people say we should keep players who want away.

Tbf Chelsea never offered what we wanted up front. If we did manage to get £35m this time around, I think we might end up about even on it.Who could have foreseen the decision not to sell him in the summer spectacularly backfiring on us.
Oh right, yeah absolutely everybody.
I had it from someone else yesterday before that podcast that his reps met all three of Spurs, Chelsea and Newcastle over the last few days.I think @The Bobble posted it somewhere (i may have imagined this)

We have to sell him though, just get it done.

It wasn't £40m up front which is what we wanted. Going off what someone who lead the way on the reporting it off the time said.It depends what the best offer we got in the summer actually was I suppose
I would sell for 30 plus at this stage, because a player who doesn't want to train is worth very little to the club.
Not sure how much we got but we wanted £40m up front.£35mil would be £10mil more than we were offered in the summer...
I hope we sell to the highest bidder.
