I don’t agree I think we are highly toxic and just generally impatient with young players.
I understand why , years of frustration have changed the nature of Evertonians we have collectively become bi-polar , oscillating constantly between passion and toxicity.
I understand it , I’m part of it.
But it’s an increasingly poor environment for the propagation of young talent.

Was gonna get offered £90k a week to deal with the hostile atmosphere. Also...play better. Not break down every attack going, miss sitters, don't beat a man, blow out of your arse after every sprint

For an attacking player they are bad attributes. Sure he’sa nice kid and if the offer was 15 or 20 million I’d probably say keep him.

He was in his second season playing for a basket case of a club.
This is what I mean young lads come into the side and their development is expected to be linear or they become the worst player in the world.
Like I said if Mills , Cannon and Dobbin wish to succeed they would be best going elsewhere because currently , they won’t get the support they need here, unless they are Rooney quality and few are.

Perhaps Rooney set an impossible bar for us supporters old enough to remember him breaking through

Shown lots of potential,thought he would learn a bit and start to Improve his fitness and decision making ane most of all lack of end product, unfortunately he never he Basically downed tools since the summer transfer rumours.and had delusionaĺ ronaldo levels of self worth,attitude has been worse than barkleys was,his performances were even worse I just hope his career goes down the pan the way the likes of barkley jeffers etc did, shown himself to be an absolute bell whiff and I'd have been happy if we had taken 25 mil for him,I think we've had the geordies right off paying over 40 for him as I don't think he will become the player a lot of thought he would.

Can carry it maybe but that gets us nowhere with out being able to pass it cross it even have a go at goal,he has created nothing and I mean nothing he has no assists in over 30 games but you say gueye and onana are the ones who offer nothing

Mate of mine is a Spurs lad, was saying end of last season "I would absolutely take Gordon from you lot, he's class". I was saying there was no chance he would leave this season/he's at his boyhood club and playing/etc

He's been an absolute tit of the highest order the last 5 months and it's really astounding. Look at someone like James Ward-Prowse, he knows he's not going to win anything at Southampton but he plays for HIS club. Remember before Gana left, his form was outstanding knowing that we would let him go in the summer.

It's not even "sad" that he is going, it's a relief honestly. Says a TON about his character.
