Saudi shirt sponsorship and naming rights for SJP being done next summer apparently.

They already have a sleeve sponser with some Saudi company for just a little less than what our shirt sponser with Stake is.
Financial doping....i mean does anyone check if these sponsorship deals hold true commercial value and are not just a way of pumping money into a club to beat FFP rules. Oh yes Gov its profit honest...we make hundreds of millions out of our 2 million wordwide support network. Pissing joke and very Everton that our source of financial doping gets sanctioned...

I honestly don’t understand this bizarre obsession with hating on this lad.

I don’t think he’s very good and he’s probably a bit of a tit, but he has been given abuse on here and social media for months and months. His biggest crimes seem to be dressing a bit weird and wanting to play for Chelsea or Newcastle rather than relegation candidates Everton.

He’s gone, we’ve got £40m for him. Give it a rest.

To be honest I'd much rather as a fan base we hate our ex-players rather than the ones still with us. Not much fun supporting Everton at the moment so fair enough to take pop shots at Gordon if it makes some feel better.

I'm just happy he brought in some cash really.

I hope the deal all goes through.....prob will fail his medical after finding Charlie in his system....

I can't see how he establishes himself in the Newcastle team when a player as good as ASM isn't even in the starting line up. When he comes on as a sub he is going to have to make one hell of an an impression to be considered for starting their next game.

Can see him lasting there for only a couple of seasons and then being moved on.
One of the biggest cons in football this fella. A few dribbles that end up being largely in effective and people talk like his a potential Balon D'or winner.

He's in the same bracket as Traore at Wolves: about 1 goal in 10, hardly electric.

Anyway, when is this getting moved to World Football?

I was disappointed when Rooney moved on but tbh it was always going to happen because we needed the coin.

When Barkley moved on I was disappointed because of the way he left. And at the time I thought he would be better off staying , at least for a while.

With Gordon going I feel nothing but pleased that an underperforming Prima Donna has gone and we have a load of cash, hopefully for the manager to invest.

My Newcastle supporting mate, reckons if Howe can get a tune out of Joelinton and Almiron, who he says also had bad decision making in the final 3rd, he will get a tune out of Gordon. Maybe he will, still won't sort his attitude out though.

Didn't out of Solanke and Ibe...

Jolineton and Almiron are way more experienced players and probably easier to instruct.

Newcastle has a population of 300,000. Liverpool 550,000. Tyneside has a population of 360,000. Merseyside has a population of 1,380,000. Therefore, 2 teams on Merseyside have a catchment area of nearly 700,000 each compared to a catchment area of 360,000 for Newcastle. Look up the census mate
Bah, dreadful numbers pulled in a supermarket carpark, apologies. Thanks for the correction.

Missing a lot of people out there. Northumberland needs included, as does Gateshead really. It’s only really south Tyneside and Sunderland that lean towards supporting Sunderland. Cumbria also is a big Newcastle supporting area. There aren’t lots of big clubs this far north. (By big I mean PL)
