Not getting the “hate” levels on here . We got way more than he is worth . He did us a favour putting in transfer request and his leaving message says that . We are in trouble , they are on the up and he’s quadrupled his wages … I would be off to if I was him .. so long as money is spent in next 2 days we have won … !

Gordon posted his own farewell message on social media later on, saying:

"There has always been some difficult moments this year but I never took any of it personally; stick by the team because they need you."

He added: "I love this club and I always have from the day I joined but the time has come for me to leave. I know many fans won't understand but the next chapter awaits. I will always wish the best for this club and always be watching on."

Overrated and it's gone a wee bit sideways this week, but I think the last 20 odd pages of hate filled posts from middle aged men covered in Dorito crumbs is a bit strong. If he wasn't that good why is everyone so arsed about being so hateful on here?
