Money's good but no point celebrating that til we know what it's getting spent on.

This all day. If there was anger at him for being a bell end, it pales in comparison so the sadness felt with our position, I’m sort of immune to good or promising players leaving Everton. It always feels like a drama when someone wants to leave and I’m fairly apathetic to it.

Of all of them, he has the highest ceiling. Fans seal clubbing players doesn’t do much for morale. Making them a saviour at 20 when an established 60m player leaves also doesn’t help.

I’m sad he’s leaving, but completely accept the risk / value calculation. He hasn’t performed, but it’s a pressure cooker atmosphere. He may well blossom at barcodes and we’ll wonder why we sold him.

Right now through we’re in no position to turn down that money.

Can we close this thread. He’s gone. We’ve been paid a vast amount relative to his current performance levels. He’s cost more for them than Guimares so he’s going to have to develop pretty quickly as he’ll not be given the time he needs at that fee.
