Anthony Gordon

Said recently he was gutted he missed out on playing in the final when the Geordies got there 2 years ago because he was cup tied after playing in a 'meaningless' (his actual words) game for us which was the humiliating 4-1 cup loss at Bournemouth.

'Meaningless' eh? It's clear every game in his last 6 months here was meaningless to him the way he downed tools with his totally not arsed 'performances' during that period when we were deep in the crap.

He's certainly come on as a player since he left but completely deserves his place as a reviled figure with us.

Ridiculous. State of this. The club had to sell him for the financial fair play rules. But Gordon didn't have the social media pr manager of a Richarlison so he's vilified.
Richarlison sweat blood for that Blue shirt, never went hiding when we were deep in the mire and still clearly loves the club. Gordon, by contrast, played like he wasn't arsed during his last season when things turned really bad under Lampard, didn't turn up to training to force a move and has publicly kissed the arse of the RS since he left to go with several digs at our club.

Not suprising he's public enemy number 1 with many Blues given all that.

Add to the fact he was in our academy and is the player he is because of that.

Sweated blood? The poor lamb. At least we got most of our money back.
