He's a good player. Not a typical centre half hoof ball we are used to. I think with the way Martinez has us playing we will need to get to grips with ball playing defenders to take us forward.

Hibbert is about a thousand times better than him, certainly based on previous performances against City. That Martinez prefers Alcaraz really does mystify me, given that Alcaraz has been responsible for 50% of our defeats during the season.

AS for H, what chance could Roberto really give him, we had Jags, Stones, Distin and in the middle McC, Barks and Barry even our EX did not really give him much in the way of games. When he had a chance did not really wow anyone.

Heitinga was on 60k a week, I doubt and pray Alcaraz isn't on anything like that.

I think if he's fit he will play in at least the home Europa games next season. Or maybe Duffy will come back. Or Browning. Or I don't have a clue. Probably the last one.

too early to judge still. he looks good in games, but he also looks bad in others. maybe not one to be trusted against the better teams, but still think he's a decent option if fit.
