Antolin Alcaraz

He was quite crap in defending. His lack of pace makes him playing someone onside easily...like the first and second goals we conceded today.

Admittedly Stones lazily stuck his foot out and let the cross in for the 3rd goal.

Doesn't make the grade, i could run faster in fresh tarmac, out of position loads and gives the ball away in bad areas that a centre half shouldn't

I do not think he is that bad but as you say he had a few chances, how about like coming on as a sub at Hull.

How many league games he plays for this club? 5 or 6? Whenever he plays we tend to ship out loads of goals. 4-0 to RS, 2-0 to Soton, 3-2 to Citch today.

One thing is that CB and WB didn't know who was making who when the opposition took them on. They might be a bit confused by the system. There was massive space exposed in the left and right flank. CB like Alcaraz was dragged out of the defensive line because Baines ain't playing LB. Since he was bloody slow, he failed to recover when the opposition got pass him with 1-2s.

Two misplaced passes today, at most. Usually finds an Everton player when he passes forward. Not first choice but useful,
especially in Europe, in early games were the opposition might suit his lack
of pace. Distin can teach him how to
run fast, and he can teach Distin how
to pass out of defence.

Time to get the eyes tested again Steve. Misplaced passes everywhere, was awful again.

He was at fault for the first goal today if you nit pick..he stepped up too soon and City took advantage. Similarly, Stones was out of position for the second goal, but he'll learn.

Whenever Alcaraz started, we conceded loads of goals. That is my concern.

He played someone onside initially for the attack which led to their second goal.

I said after his debut against Southampton at goodison he looked awful, everyone was jizzing themselves coz he could pass a ball

the man is an absolute joke of a footballer
