Last time I checked our most decent young player (Gordon) has been playing games for us this season.

You go through the top 10 sides in the PL and you'll find very few yoof players who get regular football because the demands are huge.

Our fanbase have too many Arl Da's who think PL football is akin to a kick about in the local park - the physical demands are massive mate!

The only way to develop is by playing. People like to talk about training and that's all well and good but the prospect of playing a full game of football is not really replicated in training.

Agree but don’t want him playing full games for 20 matches on the run.. The lad has shown promise he could become an intergral part of the team for years, just don’t throw him in like he’s a seasoned pro yet

He's playing at that level though. Dropping him because he's young is silly if he's our second best player.

If he was at the required level he would play. The fact he hasn't been played at all by Ancelotti and rarely by Benitez suggests that he has a while to go yet.

Get him shipped oot on loan and let the kid develop.
