Confirmed Signing Anwar El Ghazi

Rafael Benitez seemed obsessed with Wingers in the same way Ronald Koeman was with No10s, but what's done is done.

Anwar El Ghazi is another 'body' for the Manager to utilise if and when needed and gives us the option of trying something different when things aren't going as expected during games, or to step in if players get injured or suspended. El Ghazi may not be the player we wanted but he's the one we've got, I'm sure Frank Lampard can use the guy to Evertons' advantage.

If El Ghazi impresses in training he will get an opportunity.
It is a different scenario to Josh King because El Ghazi was not brought to the club in spite of the manager, he was here before him.
I think there is also a cheap option to buy included in the deal as well.

The one thing El Ghazi rarely is per my Villa mate is bang average. Sensational or terrible with not much in between he says.

When you look at the squad we have available for Saturday, it becomes even more crazy that we brought in him instead of a midfielder. Have Allan, Gomes, Gbamin and Onyango to choose from....not El Ghazi's fault though, I hope he does well. My only hope is that he doesn't get minutes ahead of Gordon (unlikely) or Dobbin (more likely) but we do know firsthand that he's capable of a banger.
