Confirmed Signing Anwar El Ghazi

Its a loan for an improvement on Iwobi. Not sure why people on here would want Iwobi to keep playing.

Im not saying hes a world beater or anything, but last season he had 10 goals(6 from play), and we havent been able to get 6 from play from our wingers for many years. Thats at least something for a player whos not costing us much of anything to come in as a backup.
Its the same argument that has been made for loads of players who've turned out to be crap though isn't it. Rondon being the most recent example. Being slightly less crap than someone we all agree is crap doesn't make you a good signing. Thats not to say he can't turn out alright though and if anyone was saying i've seen a lot of him and he's exactly what we need because he can do all these things then I would be happy but the only positive thing anyone seems to be able to say relates to Iwobi who hardly plays anyway.

I expect Crab will be dreading returning from Nigeria. His homesickness affliction (i.e. Potty Syndrome) will kick in with a blistering vengeance the moment he lands on Merseyside. This El Ghazi bloke? I do not know a lot about him, to be fair, but he's a foreigner, so I am not expecting he's up to much. Probably turn out to be another mummy's boy...just like Crab...different mummies of course.

Instead of all moaning on here, why can't one of you do something productive and write a Anwar El Ghazi article I can throw on the front page?

Anwar El Ghazi is an association football player who will soon play for Everton Football Club while they attempt not to be relegated to the Championship.

I'll send you the invoice, I charge by the letter.

Breaking news - Anwar signs for the Toffees

Everton have confirmed the signing of Anwar El Ghazi. In a shrewd piece of business, led by Kenwright and flanked by wingman Graeme Sharp, Everton acquired the 15m rated player on a short term 5 month loan deal with no obligation to buy.

Everton have paid a fee believed to be 15m for the 5 month loan period.

Players can be loads of crap as long as its just a loan and it doesnt cost much. Signing players on permanent deals that are crap are the issue. I cant think of a single team that struggled just because their 1-2 players on loan werent very good. Stop pretending every signing has to be a Richy maybe? Thats the same arguement thats been made for loads of players who have turned out to be great assets though isnt it. They arent world beaters and so they dont have any value, and so we shouldnt sign the likes of Grey.

This blocking minutes for Gordon nonsense is utter nonsense. Also worth noting that it's only under king Rafael that Gordon has finally started showing what he'd capable of more consistently.

So it’s actually happening huh? He’s an ok player but the club is an absolute mess. This makes no logical sense given all the needs elsewhere in the side. Sign a bloody midfielder will you Everton?
I was just thinking I don’t mind it only providing we get a decent midfielder in.
