Our owner is an idiot tbf
Yes, but you are insinuating that 5 or 6 managers were happy to have Mosh pick players for them and NOT ONE of them have come out afterwards and mentioned it despite their poor form and eventual sacking??!! Surely one of them would have used it as a good reason for their demise if it was true?!?!

I just cannot see it myself, just too fantastical

Why would Moshiri try to force an unwanted player onto the manager and use up more of our scarce resources and possibly annoy the manager.
If we sign El Ghazi it will be because the manager wants him.

He could try and force him out instead of sacking by saying we'll choose the players.

I'm not saying that is true but that would be a reason to do that.

“Then last May the Netherlands international scored a winner at Goodison Park, curling an unstoppable shot from the edge of the penalty area and past Jordan Pickford.

This goal was the exception rather than the rule, though. With Aston Villa and previous club Lille, El Ghazi has taken 105 top-flight shots from outside the box and this is the only one which found the net (per Understat)”.

If you didn’t laugh you’d cry
At least we know he can score, then. ?

??

He hasnt played international football for nearly 7 years.

Upgrade for the bench on a short term loan. Good business. Nothing lost if he doesn’t perform, but good incentive for him to do so.

It’s not the lads fault that he’s joining from the same outfit Digne is leaving for. Welcome (foster) home lad.

Yeah its good business after the crazy mess we have made over the last 6 years, we need deals like this.

He is a winger we have enough and do not need another taking up space on the bench, and heaven forbid it went ahead with an option.

If this happens boy we are really hitting the lows.
