Their main attraction was Tom O'Conner {starting out} & The Hillsiders a country band & I saw the Lettermen there for the first time followed them in most places they played in town etc - others Micky Finn - & Eddie Flanagan great comedians - Russ Abbott was on there too with his band the Black Abbots he was the comedian on the drums .... also a singer from Page Moss who did a Johnny Cash great impersonation act
The Compare was at the tent was a hoot - his introductions of a band was a hoot here they are - all the way from Page moss etc & you've seen them on the radio - straight from the Phoenix nights
I heard him ask the club steward- I got the band booked for New Year's Eve & they won't confirm the date
