Any regular match goers here actually buy any Food or Drink at Goodison?

Rather take me own food in with me. Do they still confiscate you bringing in your own drinks?

I'll normally have a couple of pints depends if I've driven or go the train up. But 6 Quid for a beer and pie is OK. Go to Wembley 6 quid for a tin of Carslberg..

I take my niece to the game as a season ticket holder but when she can't make it i take her brother who is a red (trying to convert him).

Whilst I have never bought anything he always buys a chocolate bar and hot chocolate and programme and this works out £3 cheaper than over the road.

So whilst you are eating and drinking shoite at an unreasonable price, over the road they are known as shoite, serving up shoite to eat and drink and have the cheek to charge even more.

We just do not know how lucky we are.........:coffee::pint2::cheers:

No. Not sure they would chill the dry sherry to my requirements & don't even get me started on the authenticity of their quiches.

I never go near it - I think in four years going regularly I've had two pints of Chang. Firstly, my bladder is the size of a walnut and I already desperately need the bog by half time.

Secondly, it's ridiculously expensive. If I'm going with my little sister - who is fifteen - then we raid the B&M on County Rd beforehand where a Twix is 29p. If I want a proper feeding then it's on early to the Wetherspoons for a burger and pint, about £5.

So, to summarise, yeah it's ridiculously expensive but then the queues are long enough anyway so they don't need to bring it all down.

Sodexo operate on a commission back to the club- I believe its 12%. If the club were to take it in house they could make more money and also be a bit more competitive on prices.
We are farcically inept in this department, so I doubt it's on the horizon.

That B&M dont sell legit Twix's mate they are Tw1x imported from Krakow and that is why they cost 29p. I hope you dont get the Polish trotzkis from it yo.

No.

Too expensive & for 3 of us it'd cost the earth, kids take a drink in & a bag of crisps & toffee crisp or something, for the time we are in there they don't REALLY need anything except maybe a drink.

*** When we went to Olympics at Old Trafford a steward informed us that we had to empty water bottles BUT said once inside ask a steward where the water filling station was as they have to provide water free as 'Duty of Care' it was at a food & drink kiosk so we just got them refilled as opposed to paying over the odds for a fizzy drink which we would never give them at other times.

Must admit though, I could've done with a Bov on some of those cold evenings... not for the price of Steak though.
