We have the manager, we have the money and we finally appear to have a plan. We dont have a defence of midfield of any repute so it is a no for now. But hope springs eternal.

The evidence from across the Park would suggest you don't need a great midfield to win things. We have the manager, we have the money and we finally appear to have a plan. We dont have a defence of midfield of any repute so it is a no for now. But hope springs eternal.
He's not even in the repeats anymore.Orly my sweet,No one is forcing you to watch them...You could can always just watch re runs of Bargain Hunt, with BBC'S own Tim Wonnacott.
A disease threatening to end life on Earth hit just after we hired him. Everton that, I guess.
So * if * society survives and we do not devolve into a primitive fight for sustenance, all-versus-all....
You bet!
The evidence from across the Park would suggest you don't need a great midfield to win things.
Sad timesHe's not even in the repeats anymore.
Their creativity comes from the full backs and front 3.they have midfielders who are physical and can run at full pelt three games in a week. We have the slowest midfield in the league who can’t sustain performances beyond 20 minutes.
So are you half full or half empty don't sit on the fence. If we didn't have money to spend Carlo wouldn't be here. Carlo + Money = exciting times.
If Carlo leaves because he doesn't get what was expected when he joined, then we can all jack in supporting the club. So that will be a weight lifted if the worst happens.
To balance all that positivity I have to say at the moment my god are we a chore to watch. It's like 11 strangers picked off the street to play a game they had never heard of before. Just lucky that there are 8 or so clubs look like they are in the same position.
ON Carlo's interviews he says time and again that he has a lot of players with the club now that are the future ,so fasten your seat belts and we are off .
He can see what we see and yes the last two games have not been an easy watch but we all know that the results are what is needed to entice better players when the window opens .
My cup runneth over .Or am I just praying he turns us around before I kick the bucket?
I hate to be a beacon of positivity in an otherwise depressed, glass half empty woe is me kind of forum (we are evertonians after all?) But my god we have improved massively since that day ol' Marco left.
I'm obviously not the first to say this, even those lads at MOTD agree but watching us play it really is night and day. Remember when we conceded goals at set pieces for a laugh? Well were scoring them now! Remember when the reaction to going a goal behind was throwing 19 strikers on in blind hope? Remember never winning away for what felt like a decade?
We look like we have a plan now, analysing oppositions strengths and weaknesses and adjusting accordingly. It's coaching at its most basic level but my god it's been absent.
Let's sign a couple and go flying into next season with that glass half full instead. UTFT!
